For 2820 to save memories for mobile operators who use lots of DStar repeaters one set of reflector commands does the job
For an example of this watch on you tube at bottom of page
This idea came from Mike M3SEY who also came up with the worldwide used "R2 D2" Phrase While he was enjoying a boat trip back from overseas
In CS2820 software open call sign folder then "Your Call Sign" you will have U01-U60 in which you can save reflector info U01 U (U is also in 8th position) even though it doesn’t look it i.e. U02 REF001AL (L is in 8th position) the link command U03 REF001BL U04 REF001CL
etc carry on filling up all the memories to 60 for your reflectors
Now for using this info on your radio to drive reflectors
Press Function key twice Assuming your vfo is on dv side "CS" will appear on screen above the left V/MHz / Scan now press this V/MHz button to display Call sign boxes on display You are only interested in the top box "YOUR" Now push in the "Main Band" for the relevant "VFO" you are using DV on This will display the "U Menu" you have previously programmed using the CS2820 software in the step at top of page Now rotate the relevant "Main Band" Knob to select your required "Reflector" Then press back button this will now put the "Reflector" you have chosen in the "YOUR"field or Top Box and away you go To Unlink you need to do the same but use U01 " U"
Don't forget to reset "YOUR" box back to cq cq cq to carry on your qso once you have linked/unlinked your chosen reflector command
Helpfull Script functions, place the two letter command in the 7th and 8th position of UR: prefixed with your gateway callsign. eg. GB7OK IX (one space) will return which reflector is currently linked via a text message.
DX Display gateway IP address. Great for gateways with ISPs using DHCP (Admin users only)
IX Return link status information. Can also e-mail admin users' PDA
KX Unlink (kill) all links (obeys linking privileges in dplus.conf)
LX Link to last busy reflector, great for finding a QSO in the quiet hours
RX Random reflector link to one of 10 most recently busy reflectors
UX Display server uptime and average CPU load
